Marcia has a BS in Economics and a Masters in Health Care Administration. She has written and published a children’s book “The Adventures of Baytone”.
After experiencing a life-threatening heart event, Marcia needed an avenue to relax. By that, she followed the advice of a good friend, and while spending time at a local pottery she discovered her artistic talent. Now working part-time in the health care industry, she can enjoy the aspects of nature and speak through her work by recycling natural elements such as tree bark and sand mixed with acrylic paint to create unique mixed media visual art.
The support she receives from her husband, children, relatives, and friends has motivated her to apply self-discipline to grow in her creative ability.
She hopes to formally study the Arts, and open an after-school studio/gallery.
